The Better Days Are Here with Woodstack!

In the aftermath of the global pandemic, brands and individuals alike have begun to recognize the necessity of community in their storytelling. With this in mind, Adidas seized a unique opportunity to collaborate with select Community Specialty accounts, inviting them to recreate an iconic Adidas Original shoe that displays the narrative of their personal or professional journey. The Ozelia is the model that was chosen.

Woodstack, a primarily brick and mortar franchise, has positioned itself as the preferred retail destination in the tri-state area for the most sought after premium streetwear brands. More importantly, Woodstack’s commitment to serving and enriching the

population of their retail locations position them uniquely to be industry leaders on how to “do community better”. The authentic relationships forged by Woodstack, their customers,and their brand partners are a result of genuine interpersonal connections,

which at their core, conceptualize the needs of the clients they service.

The Better Days sneaker collaboration between Adidas and Woodstack is aimed to reinforce connections within our communities, while being a testament to the Better Days ahead–days where corporations do more than say that they support diverse communities by demonstrating longstanding fiscal commitments to serving them.

Brown and Gold Accents: The rich brown and shimmering gold accents of the shoe pay homage to Woodstack, drawing inspiration from both the cultural preservation qualities and the sophisticated aesthetic of wood, while the gold elevates the overall look of the shoe. The Green Symbolism: Green, the color of growth and renewal, represents Ivy, our Women's-only store. It symbolizes the flourishing and empowerment of women in our community, showcasing their unwavering strength. TREE-Inspired Footbed: The footbed of the sneaker is intended to mirror the rings of a tree. Each ring represents a year of growth and experience, while the branches extending from the rings signify Treehouse, the Kids-only store. This element embodies the nurturing environment of our community, where the young ones are encouraged to reach for the stars.
