Please introduce yourself, what is your name & where are you from?
"Project, Washington DC."
What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?
Growing up in Washington, DC a lot of people don’t know but we’re a sneaker capital. It’s apart of our culture to always have the latest & greatest when it comes to sneakers.
Coming from an impoverished background I couldn’t always get the ones I wanted but I always was into them. My uncles, we’re always into sneakers so they got me started. I just took it a step further. I love the nostalgia and the all the stories and sentimental value that each sneaker holds to each individual. It’s truly a piece of art that’s subjective to you.

What was your first sneaker?
I can’t remember my exact very first sneaker ever but my mother always kept me in Jordan’s. Born in 97' so it’s more than likely it was 12s or 13s.

Your favorite pair? (or top 3)
Top 3 sneakers
Travis Scott 4s (oiler)
Off White 5s (sail)
Jordan 1 85 (neutral gray)
Your favorite sneaker memory.
My favorite sneaker memory of all time is my grad pictures going Viral on twitter, where I posed with about 6 of my favorite sneakers. It was just me showing love and appreciation for the culture and what it meant to me I didn’t think it would get 30k likes. That was probably the most memorable.
Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?
I definitely consider myself a collector, and shoes are meant to be worn. But when you have so many it’s hard getting around to wearing them all. But I definitely wear all my sneakers and try to do the best of my abilities.
What's your favorite brand of sneaker and why?
Checks over stripes, I’d have to go with the OG’s at Nike, just what they’ve solidified over the years and what they’ve done as a brand you just can’t argue with it. They are sneaker culture.
What are a pair of grails to you? (Could be a pair in your closet or in general)
My grails is none other than 85 Chicago 1s or Breds with the high cut leather. Also any Nike Yeezy way ahead of its time.
Your favorite sneaker campaign?
My favorite sneaker campaign, is probably Nike going back in the vault and giving us the classics 90s releases. Beings though I was born in 97 I was never able to see or get a lot of this stuff, so now to be able to have the opportunity to get it is probably my favorite thing going on in the sneaker world right now.
A must have for your closet? (A recommendation)
Can’t be a sneaker head without these 3 sneakers in your closet. Bred 4s, Black cement 3s, Chicago 1s.

What is a shoe that you REFUSE to buy, why?
mschf big red boots, I really just feel like for that price it isn’t worth it. And personally I just don’t see anything that special about them they look like video game boots. It’s legit a phase that played out so quickly.
If you got the chance to sit in a meeting w/ a sneaker brand, what would you ask/recommend/ask/say?
I would tell them to stop releasing items solely based off public perception. Get back to actually making timeless designs that have meaningful thoughts and feelings that goes into the design. Also everybody doesn’t need a sneaker collab.
Most you’ve ever spent on sneakers?
Dior B22’s $1200, and I regret it wasn’t worth it.

A sneaker you regret sleeping on?
Not regret sleeping on but I sold Shattered Backboard 1.0s for $300 when they first dropped real pain!
