What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?

I played a lot of sports growing up, but ultimately, my brother got me into sneakers. He got me a new pair every time he got a pair and I fell in love with the style and comfort.

What was your first sneaker?

My first sneaker that I can remember was a pair of Reebok Classics.

Your favorite pair?

My favorite sneaker is a toss up between the Air Jordan 1, Hi OG ‘Shadow’ and the Nike Total Air Foamposite Max (Tim Duncan) in Metallic Silver.

Your favorite sneaker memory?

My favorite sneaker memory is when my mom told my brother to stop buying me sneakers and he came home with two pairs for me instead. Lol!

Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?

I mean some of my friends would say I’m a collector because I still have a lot of sneakers to UNDS.

I don’t believe I am.

I love my sneakers and try to wear them and get through them, but I don’t want to wear my nice sneakers to work. 💁🏽‍♀️

Whats your favorite brand of sneaker and why?

My favorite brand is Nike (Jordan Brand and now Converse) because I grew up wearing them and the sneakers have never failed me.

What are a pair of grails to you?

Nike Total Air Foamposite Max.

Your favorite sneaker campaign?

The Nike puppet commercials with LeBron and Kobe. Those were

my favorite commercials during the playoffs.

A must have for your closet?

Nike Blazers.

What is a shoe that you REFUSE to buy, why?

I can’t think of any.

If you got the chance to sit in a meeting with a sneaker brand, what would you ask/recommend/say?

That they make more sneakers inclusive of kid sizing prices.

When they do a shoe for women, they usually start at a small size, but that price isn’t ideal for all parents. I think when they do Women sneakers, Grade School should get them too at Grade School pricing.

Most you’ve ever spent on sneakers?

The most I’ve spent on sneakers is $250. I refuse to spend more than that and I barely wanted to, lol.
