Introduce yourself.

I’m GGL SLICK from Baltimore, MD and I started making music in 2011.

How would you define your sound? Who is your “average” listener?

I would define my sound as Quality Street Music. My average listener is a lover of raw hip hop.

Who would you say some of your influences are in the music industry?

I’m influenced by the artists that carved their own lane… like Future. I’m also influenced by artists becoming CEOs like Yo Gotti.

What is your favorite thing about making music and releasing it to the world?

My favorite thing is bringing a fresh idea to life. Taking a word or thought and turning it into a song. Getting a good reaction from the fans also.

What is your studio ritual?

Water & Weed… I can’t record without it.

What is your favorite song of yours?

Right now it’s “I Need a Driver”

Biggest lesson you’ve learned since the start of your career?

Stay on top of your own business, even if you have others helping you.

What has been your favorite or biggest accomplishment this year?

Finally completing probation. I’m free free. Lol
