If you're tired of going to the same spots for lunch, we have two nice, new options for you to try. #TheMove this week in the RDU area is Burger Bach and bartaco.
Both RDU restaurants are medium priced eateries where you can order your food taken out or to go. I recommend dining in for your first try to get more of an experience. Are you ready Movers? Buckle up for my review on these two restaurants.

First stop is bartaco. This spot was brand new to me. I was invited by my cousin as apart of her birthday celebration. We met at the North Hills location on Sunday at about 1 pm. We both ordered a number of tacos, a rice bowl, and our own sides. The tacos I indulged in first were glazed pork belly, roasted duck, seared chorizo and a side of esquites. MAN. When I say these were some of the best tacos I'd ever had, I'm not exaggerating. The best part? They're about $4 a piece. I'm not playing. The pork belly taco had a glaze, cilantro and pickled onions. The (slow) roasted duck taco had a glaze, caramelized onions, and cilantro. Finally, the chorizo taco had pork, sweet onions, a fresh chimichurri sauce, and cilantro.

The food comes a l carte so the esquites was an extra $5. It was beyond worth it. I'd do it again. Esquites is corn with a mayo sauce with spices and cotija cheese coating it. They also have cute little cocktails. My cousin's friend tried their Winter Caipirinha, a holiday special. They described it as sweet and tasty. One cool thing about bartaco is they make their cocktails and some juices with fresh fruit! They also played music to set an ambience. Although I went to this location, there's another in the RDU area as well as 10+ nationally. I'd rate this food a 10/10 lol. I can't lie all of the tacos I tried hit. I ordered the chile lime shrimp one too.

Our next stop is Burger Bach. Burger Bach is a classy type of bar food wise, but it's just tucked in another food corner in Durham-Erwin Mills to be specific. Burger Bach has multiple tv's hosting the game and music playing in the background. The "New Zealand Inspired" cuisine has most options you'd expect at a burger place-burgers and sandwiches-but also provide seafood options and sides. I strayed away from the traditional and ordered Rockefeller oysters with truffle parmesan fries. I will note this is a pricier order and can range from $30.90-38.90 not including drinks.

When I say this food was fire, I'm not playing at all. These oysters are easily a favorite of mine now that I've been here. The oysters come with "cream, spinach, parmesan, bread crumbs and baguettes." The truffle parmesan had more than enough parmesan crumbs coating the fries. They were also super crispy and you could taste the hints of truffle oil. Too good! I'm afraid I easily have to rate this meal a 10/10 too. Don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself. Oh, Burger Bach has cocktail specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays so I recommend going then.

Well Movers, I hope y'all liked the #TheMove. Let
me know if you tried any of these spots. Were they good or did I hype it up?
