Join North Carolina Central University's football team this Saturday in Atlanta for the Cricket Celebration Bowl. This year, NCCU will be facing the notorious Jackson State University (JSU). It's an HBCU takeover in ATL this weekend and you don't want to miss it! The game is #TheMove!

If you all have been following the NCCU Eagles' football season this year, then you'd know that they had plenty of success. Much like last year, Head Coach Trei Oliver led his team to a plethora of victories. All their work payed off. NCCU faced Norfolk State University in a Championship MEAC game Saturday, November 12th and had a defining victory of 48-14 (Fussi).

Loud cheers could be heard all throughout the stadium after NCCU was crowned the champions. This game not only declared the MEAC Champion, but also served as a qualifier for the Cricket Celebration Bowl. Students and Alumni took to different social media platforms to brag and coordinate trips for the big game in Atlanta.

JSU is no stranger to winning either. The infamous team is known for their former head coach and NFL Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders as well as their impressive 11-2 finish. This season the JSU Tigers are currently undefeated. In last year's bowl game, JSU suffered a large loss to South Carolina State University. Needless to say the fans were not pleased.

"THEY NOT READY", "I hope y'all ready because last year...tuh", and "Let's make history fellas, one more left" were just a few comments from the JSU fans. It's evident there are high expectations for the players' performance.

There have been whispers of concern and some excitement that Coach Sanders absence will hinder JSU's gameplay. Earlier this month, Sanders announced he'd no longer be coaching with the JSU program before being declared Colorado University's head coach for their football program.

This will be an exciting game to watch since both teams are the best of their conference. Kickoff will start at 12:00 pm EST at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
