Can you please introduce yourself, where are you from?

HIIIIII! I’m Smoove, checking in from Connecticut.

What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?

I was kind of born into sneakers. My father made sure him and I had two new fresh pairs of AF1s every Sunday.

I've been Smoove since birth.

What was your first sneaker?

Air Force 1s. First pair I purchased for myself were, LeBron 10, “Fireberry” and the Gamma 11's.

Your favorite pair?

In my closet: Wolf Grey 5s, Cherry 12s, and Cav 4s.

Your favorite sneaker memory.

My fav sneaker memory would be camping in a blizzard for the Gamma 11s. Was my freshman year of highschool and I did it with my bestfriend at the time. During christmas break.

I met some really cool people that night. My first actual step into the sneaker community.

Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?

A collector, Id say yes. I dont wear all of my sneakers lol.

Whats your favorite brand of sneaker and why?

My favorite brand of sneakers would have to be Puma. There’s so much versatility in their products.

I look at them as a lifestyle brand rather than a streetwear brand.

I enjoy their partnerships.

On top of their overall comfort.

What are a pair of grails to you?

A pair of grails that I dont own would be the cool grey 11s and the anniversary 11s.

Pairs that I own, Cav 4s, Wolf Grey 5s, and Black Cement 3s before I sold them :(

A must have for your closet?

Nike reacts. Beyond comfortable. Breathable and bendy.

What is a shoe that you REFUSE to buy, why?

Crocs. And I HATED foams. Make my foot look long.

If you got the chance to sit in a meeting w/ a sneaker brand, what would you ask/recommend/ask/say?

I would love to sit down with Jordan Brand and ask them to add the detailed boxes, shoelaces, and tissue paper for us gradeschoolers. We deserve that experience as well.
