What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?

Michael Jordan!

One of the first photos of me as a kid, I’m wearing Nike’s but my first real memory and attachment to sneakers is watching MJ and wanting to be him.

What was your first sneaker?

First pair of sneakers I can remember getting was the ‘96 Fila Grant Hill II’s.

I wanted Reebok Questions for ball which we didn’t get in Canada at the time but instead was given those.

Mom went on a trip to the states and brought the GH2’s home instead of Question’s and I won’t lie I was heartbroken.

Your all time favorite pair?

Favorite pair all time would be Air Jordan 3 White/Cement.

What's your favorite sneaker memory?

There’s a lot to unpack here in terms of memories but my absolute favorite would have to be getting the opportunity to Co-Manage the only Jordan store to ever exist in Canada (RIP 306 Yonge) from 2017-2019.

Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?

Collector = No.

Yes I wear everything.

Whats your most frequently worn sneaker?

Currently, Air Max Scorpion’s & Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found.

What are a pair of grails to you?

Nike Dunk SB High “MF DOOM”.

Your favorite sneaker campaign?

GOOD QUESTION DAMN!.... I’d have to go with OG Air Jordan 4 introducing Spike Lee as Mars Blackmon!

A must have for your closet?

Some sort of AJ1 High in an OG colorway.

Most you’ve ever spent on sneakers?

One pair? $1400 CAD.
