What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?

Growing up in Chicago during the Jordan era, new sneakers were a must for going to school. You had to have the latest or just

something fly.

What was your first sneaker?

My first sneakers that I can remember having as baby, were the red and white Nike Cortez.

Your favorite pair?

My favorite sneakers are the Bred 11s.

Your favorite sneaker memory.

Getting the "He Got Game"s (original release) just to have my mom return them because they were too small. I was livid!

Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?

Both! Some [sneakers] sit pretty but eventually they all get worn.

Jordan Brand/Nike.

What are a pair of grails to you?

Grails- Union LA Jordan 1s (blue pair) and Sail Off-White 4s.

Your favorite sneaker campaign?

Lil penny and Chris Rock being the voice. Plus I thought Penny Hardaway was so cute! Lol

A must have for your closet?

Bred 11s, Bred 1s, white forces.

What is a shoe that you REFUSE to buy, why?

Designer sneakers, won’t waste my money on them.

If you got the chance to sit in a meeting w/ a sneaker brand, what would you ask/recommend/say?

All of them, to understand their branding for women. And would push for more masculine women representation.
