What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?

The colorways, culture, creative expression, and storytelling is what got me into the sneaker game.

What was your first sneaker?

My first sneaker, that I was able to buy with my own money, was the Charcoal Jordan 9s. I ended up outgrowing them unfortunately and passed them on to my Godsister.

Your top 3 pairs?

Raptor 7s, Infrared 6s, and AirMax 95s.

Your favorite sneaker memory.

My cousin taking me and my sister to Lady Footlocker in Brass City Mall in Waterbury, CT to buy my first pair of uptowns (Air Force 1s).

Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?

I collect AND wear my sneakers lol. Some sneakers I have had for a while and have either outgrown or aren’t as comfortable so, they either sit or get worn just for pics lol.

What's your favorite brand of sneaker and why?

My favorite brand of sneakers is Nike. Nike is Nike, man lol. They have always had this unique way of having a pulse on the culture.

What is a pair of grails to you?

Air Jordan 2 Chicago Home, Air Jordan 9 Olive, Melody Ehsani Air Jordan 1 Mid.

Your favorite sneaker campaign?

My favorite sneaker campaign is JoeFreshGoods, ‘Outside Clothes’ New Balance campaign. Joe is the perfect storyteller and everything he creates resonates with the black community perfectly.

A must have for your closet?

New Balance 990v3 or AirMax 95s or Converse Run Star Hikes. These go with just about anything and are timeless.

What is a shoe that you REFUSE to buy, why?

Nike Air Force 1s. They don’t last long enough for me.
