Today I'm back with another Bars on i-95 photo dump. We're back in our latest episode, with a freestyle from another Connecticut artist and one of the best at that. Showly met up with us in NYC to record his freestyle and he didn’t hold back. Part of it was in response to Talib Kweli's statements against CT where he said "fuck Connecticut" in a podcast comment and we been on his ass since! 😂 There is no rest for the wicked 😂😂

Talib Kweli went on to make a statement saying that he was joking but I personally think that's nothing to joke about. I believe, at some point you can’t take disrespect lightly when you know you’re nothing to play with and we’re showing him we’re nothing to play with.

This freestyle means something to me because I shot it!! Alongside my Bars brudda E . I can now saw my work is on the Bars YouTube page & cemented forever! This freestyle was also a chance for me to double back with Showly, who is the second artist I ever worked with. Working with him taught me a lot, opened my eyes to a lot, it really helped me make a name for myself in Connecticut and gave me a lot of great experiences such as shooting out of state for the first time when I captured his work with Benny the Butcher for their song 5 Minute Drill in Ohio.

His second freestyle with us is, and probably will always be, my favorite Bars episode. Period.
