Album release.

Frankie With Da Lisp has been brewing all 2021. Today, she drops her recent album, "Sorry 4 Da Wait".
Sorry 4 Da Wait features hit singles, "Lonely", "Beat Up Cupid" and "1:30AM Freestyle". All that are a perfect feel for Valentine's day. Frankie is a versatile artist when it comes to her sound. There is some drill, some lover girl Frankie, some sad girl Frankie.
We got to chop it up with Frankie and asked her a few questions.
How would you define this album?
"I find myself dumbing the hype down for this project because it's really archives of songs that wont make the album later this summer. I wanted to bless y'all with something for your ears till I'm ready to drop again. Sorry 4 Da Wait is kind of a 'Thank You' to the supporters who listen to me, the ones who harass me to drop and the ones who have been dying for new music. I appreciate each and every one of those people because y'all push me to keep going."
What is your favorite song & why?
"My favorite song would be Lonely. I was dark point in my life at the time I wrote it. I wanted to talk about depression and the feeling of being alone. I wanted to let people know that it doesn't last forever and sometimes you're the only one who can help yourself."
Who produced these songs on the album?
"BLVCK FRIDAY produced Lonely and BreakUpSong. My friend Shyy produced Beat Up Cupid and TakeMeDown. CLINT produced Deal or No Deal. ToryOnTheBeat produced Chucky & Tiffany and YoungNikos produced 1:30AM Freestyle."
Why did you choose the sample for BreakUpSong?
"BreakUpSong might've been the most fun to make. Blvck Friday heard me play the [original] song and maybe a week later, sent the beat my way. I immediately fell in love and instantly knew what to say on it.
What made you cover Lonely?
"Speaker Knockerz played a big part in the artist I am today. His drive, his futuristic sound. He was a pioneer to how a lot of rappers are today sound today. I felt like giving him his credit and paying homage."
What made you bless us with Deal or No Deal?
"Deal or No Deal was added last minute. I felt like it closed everything out so perfectly. In the song I struggle with knowing someone isnt good for me, wanting to leave but telling them if IM going to stay, YOU have to change. LIKE STOP PLAYING WITH ME!!!"
We are looking forward to seeing where Frankie goes this year with her career. Being a versatile artist, we know its going to be nowhere but up.
Congrats Frankie!
