On July 20th, we brought the towns out. by.NETWORK had their first production in New York City. A curated audio experience spotlighting both emerging and established artists with smoove sounds. Sponsored by the one and only 7th Street Burger and my personal favorite WYNK, Current Flow was indeed one hell of a night.
Bringing out artists from every borough was the goal and what a success that was. Abby Jasmine from Staten Island, London Hill, Butta, and T-Bruin from the Bronx, Didiami also checking in from the Bronx, Fergie Baby from Harlem, Hurri Haran from Brooklyn, T-13 and Cosi Pari from Queens, and we brought Briana Maia out from Connecticut to come take the stage.
NYC made their way over to Now and Then in Brooklyn to gather for their favorite artists. Seeing the audience gravitate to the stage as they were consuming music from artists they've never heard before was a delight.

A lot of people enjoyed Hurri Haran's set. It was a lot of people that enjoyed his time and are still asking us when he's dropping something new. Which we expected as he is one of our forever favorites. He spoke with Diamond Kut Media about whats to come. Check it out here.
As the crowd continued to grow as the night set in, Abby Jasmine was a major fan favorite. College students who were interning at some labels stopped in just to see her. Abby was is someone Ive been a fan of for some years and have personally been able to watch her grow into the light she currently shines. She works really hard at her craft and does the best at her craft. She activated the spot so organically, she adds an element to the stage that the crowd will always form to see.
Briana Maia, as we imagined, was the light to the evening. We brought Connecticut to Brooklyn the SMOOVE way! She came to play some unreleased goodies, which the crowd was SO in love with almost instantly. Sprinkling her sparkle onto the mic and the stage, it was the perfect sound that the crowd was excited to hear. Watch her chat with Afrodite, once of the faces of Stellar Reports, here.
Safa came in and play 911. Which has been MY favorite song for the last 2 months since Ive been introduced to the body of work. She can sign her ASS OFF. It was soooooooooo good. I loved the fact that people were in the crowd singing her songs back to her. That made me so happy. Felt like hugs were in the air and it was legit just the perfect alignment.
London Hill came through and BODIED the stage. The project princess took the night over and brought the flow. So many people were in the crowd that night asking for London's set time to see their favorite artist. I was honored to have London be there for this experience. It meant the world to me that she came through and did her thing. Beyond excited to hear and see what she has coming out.
T-13 is a woman who has changed the way my ear listens to music. I have been honored to work with T since February as we were able to curate her listening experience for the New Moon Mixtape, that released in March. To bring her to the stage to share her sound with the crowd was super smoove. Storming in from Queens the crowd felt her shine for sure. T-Bruin is another heavy hitter we HAD to have on the line up. He is someone we have been fans of since middle of last year. We have been watching him continue to grow into a cemented artist in the scene. We adore the fact he performs with a live band anytime he gets the chance to. Vibes are HIGH with Bruin. So happy we were able to get him on the line up.
Butta flew to the stage to play some fly shit for us. Bronx energy was felt that day when it was her time. Everyone in the crowd was vibin with her. She did some fit checks with our media outside. the vibes were RIGHT. Some unreleased was played and the crowd moved to the uptown vibes. I knew she was the perfect fit to the line up. Definitely keep a look out for what she has coming out! Watch her chat with Curt about her music here.
Cosi Pari came through and wow'd me. Miss VIRAL for real. Prior to the event, I heard nothing but great things about her. She is super solidified with my homies Dizzy Banko, Kojo, DJ Kanai, and Broadway Bu. They allllll mentioned her to me as I was drafting up this event so to have had her on the line up was exciting to me. The girl is HUNGRY for success and is working her ass off to get there and STAY there. I loved all her music and the fans came out to sign and rap her songs right back to her. I loved watching every second of it.

Fergie Baby owned the night. I have watched Ferg grow into this superstar of a human and artist legit play by play. I am beyond honored to know him and have him be apart of the experience I put together. Ive been playing Ferg's music since 2020 and to just to be able to give him the moment to shine and connect with the crowd was delightful. I was so happy to see it. Suburbans IS a timestamp that we will never move on from as we are enjoying the new music he is dropping. He played us some singles off of Summer League Series. Played us some new tingssss and got the GROOVE right to end the night. The audience didn't depart until Fergie Baby was done. Truly a showed out show.
Thank you to everyone who was apart of the day. It was the first activation we've produced in NYC. Thank you to all of our media. Our staff for the night. Bandsome Will for keeping the vibes high for the night and just keeping things smoove. To all of our media.
