A day with ATMOS.

The Royal Garden Event

ree

If you've been following me on Instagram or IN HER SOLES Collective then you would have seen what went down on April 28th in Harlem NYC with their partnership with ATMOS. There was two events that day. The first event, The Royal Garden, followed up by a Panel at the ATMOS store.

There was a lot of women from different cities and states that came together to celebrate the release of the Jordan 11's and women in sneaker culture.

Flower Bouquet Making

The first event, The Royal Garden, had activities for their guests. I was greeted by the In Her Sole team and they gave me a run down of what The Royal Garden was going to entail. First, I went to the flower bouquet making table, where I colored my paper and picked out flowers for my bouquet. This was so unique to me because of the details. As you can tell from the pic above, the ribbon was a shoe lace and the wrap was a coloring paper that you could color the way you wanted to. I only colored it in a little because I wanted to make sure I had enough time to do other activities.

GARDEN

Then, I went to learn about how to plant a seed. We were given goodie bags with gardening supplies. Very unique!

PICTURES

There was a section in the garden where we got to take pictures. Some people took pictures with their kicks and flowers, some took group pictures, it was so cute!

NETWORKING

During the event, I networked with other dope women. It was a great feeling to be around like minded women that appreciate the sneaker culture.

Her Impact

After the first event was over, I walked to the second event which was like a 30 minute walk from the first location. Some women that attended the first event went to the second event as well. The next event was at the ATMOS store. The place was packed! There was a panel of 4 women that came to talk about their experiences in the sneaker and street wear space. The women that were on the panel was Brenn Lorenzo, Streetwear Influencer and Model, Ramshah Kanwal Photographer and Stylist, Toni Payne, Influencer Marketing Manager at Coach, host Ashlee Muhammad CEO of Beeyeconic and stylist. Food was provided by Sweet Chick and let me tell you the crispy chicken sandwich was GOOODDD. Shout out to the guys that were in attendance as well!

Overall, I loved both events! I loved seeing how women and men came together to support women in sneakers. It's so important to have events like this to come celebrate women in sneakers because growing up I did not see this and it's so important to show that women matter in a space where it's men dominated. Shout out to everyone that came out. I can't wait for the next event ATMOS! Make sure to follow them on Instagram to know when the next event happens. You don't want to miss it.
