The NFL is back! Even though it was only the first week, we learned some very interesting things about teams like the Bills and even the Vikings. This is what we learned from week one.

Josh Allen and the Bills are LEGIT!
Josh Allen was the running favorite to win the MVP going into the season, after beating the defending champions the Los Angeles Rams in an embarrassing fashion the Bills proved they are real contenders. Allen threw three touchdowns in their 31-10 victory over the Rams on their home field at Sofi Stadium. The addition of Von Miller is looking like a real difference-maker for their defense as well, the former Ram recorded two sacks against his old team. They are likely to continue to show how dominant they are on Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. Don't be surprised if they are representing the AFC in the Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes is still Patrick Mahomes
Questions about Patrick Mahomes arose at the start of the season about how successful the former MVP can be after losing his favorite deep threat target Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. He answered this question by beating the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium 44-21. Mahomes stat line was more than impressive, he totaled 360 passing yards and five touchdowns, he also had the highest passing rating among all the QBs that played with 144.2.

The Vikings are better than advertised
The Minnesota Vikings and their new Coach Kevin O'Connell win at U.S Bank Stadium against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 23-7. Justin Jefferson is showing the world that he may be the best receiver in the league. He totaled 184 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The young receiver also set a Vikings record for first-half yards with 158. Rodgers was playing without Davante Adams who now plays for the Oakland Raiders, but that didn't stop the Vikings from going easy on him. The Viking's defense held the MVP to only 195 passing yards, one interception, and zero touchdowns. The last down Rodgers lost to the Vikings by more than a score was in 2009. They are going to have another tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday. The season looks promising for the men in purple.

The Cowboys are in trouble. Already.
Following the loss to Tom Brady and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dallas Cowboy's season may already be in jeopardy. Not only did the Cowboys lose to the Buccaneers 19-3, but the injury bug has also plagued their locker room this early in the season. Their 2022 first-round pick Tyler Smith had to fill in for their starting All-Pro Tackle Tyron Smith. They also lost their starting QB, Dak Prescott, due to an injury to his right thumb. Prescott looked very pedestrian before exiting the game, throwing 14-29 and only throwing 134 yards. The QB may be out for six to eight weeks. The team will have to depend on their running game with Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard in their backfield and hopefully getting some decent play from their backup QB Cooper Rush. Their next game will be at home versus the runner up in the Super Bowl last year the Cincinnati Bengals.
