What's Going On At The Tribeca Film Festival Besides Screenings

I've been working the Tribeca Film Festival for 8 days as a Brand Ambassador for AT&T at Spring Studios and here are some cool things I wanted to share that you probably didn't know that was happening. I feel like when people think of the festival they think of films which is the main thing, but I wanted to highlight the other cool things going on during the festival.

First, the Spring Studios had different activations going on on some floors. It was a space where people can come to depending on what type of pass you had. I'll explain some of the activations that were going on at Spring.

1. The AT&T Lounge - This is the lounge I was working in. My job as a Brand Ambassador was to greet guests and invite them to visit our lounge. It was a lounge to come and relax, they had work stations. It was a space for people to come talk and/or work. The set up was bright white and blue which was my favorite part. They also had a pitch studio where you can schedule a time to record a pitch. There was also a photo booth. Some days included panels. There was these cool big tablets you could rotate and watch short films/pitches from past winners.

2. Doordash - From Thursday until Tuesday Doordash was giving away free food meals to guests. Some of the food was pizza and bagels, with a side of candy and water. The box itself was so cute! During my break I would go down there and grab a box to eat.

3. Indeed - The indeed lounge was a cool experience as well. It was also a place people can hang out and work from. There was a video booth and some art to look through and there was panels going on in that room and they were giving away free coffee and tea.

4. Roof Top - The roof top was such a vibe and of course a good place to take pictures. I would go up there during my lunch break to eat or just relax. There was a lot of happy hour events happening up there too.

5. Celebrities - I looked up and there Tyler Perry was, walking out the elevator, I was so amazed at how tall he was. I found out he had a kid, did ya know that because I didn't. One of my co workers was in the elevator with him. Imagine if you were in the elevator with Tyler Perry ?! He came to Spring because he was going to speak in a panel. LL Cool J was in the building too. We said hi to each other and all that kept playing in my head while he was walking was "All I have" ft JLo. lol
