What is the message behind this song?
"Orange" is a song about reconciliation. In the song I'm peeling back the layers and being as vulnerable as I possibly can. I'm acknowledging my role, and the part I played in a past relationship that had failed. I'm holding myself accountable and putting it all out there.
Who was in the studio when you made this song?
I made "Orange" alone in my bedroom. I tend to record alone, so most of my songs are made that way.
How does this song make you feel?
It brings back so many memories. Feelings of remorse, yearning and sadness. With a touch of hope. Hope that my message will be received.
Intent for the song?
The intention behind "Orange" was to honor past feelings that I never allowed myself to express, and to allow myself to be as vulnerable as possible. I hope that it can help people connect with their innermost feelings.
