Introduce yourself, where are you from?

My name is Clorissa. My friends call me Clo. I’m from Boston, Ma.

What was it about sneakers that got you in the game?

Growing up, I always loved the feeling of putting on a fresh pair of kicks. I was fortunate enough to have parents who would buy me a new pair of sneakers every school year.

Jordans were hot back then so I always wanted Jordans. I was also a quiet kid growing up so when other kids started complimenting me on my kicks, it made me open up more. It gave me something to talk about.

What was your first sneaker?

My earliest sneaker memory was a pair of Air Force 1 highs. They were white with the navy blue check and strap. I was in like 6th grade and the first day I wore them I got a bunch of compliments.

Your favorite pair?

I have a couple of favorites. I’ll tell you my 3 favorite pairs that I own right now. My Jordan 1 High Patent UNC’s, Air Max 95 ATMOSA Animal Print, and Air Force 1 Snakeskin Lows.

Do you consider yourself a collector of sneakers? & Do you wear your sneakers?

Yes, I guess you can say I consider myself a collector.

I just love sneakers.

I wear every single pair.

Whats your favorite brand of sneaker and why?

My favorite sneaker brand is Nike because they are so versatile. From Jordans, to Air Forces, to Air Maxes, to Dunks. Nike has it all. All my favorites

What are a pair of grails to you?

I’d love to own a pair of Louis Vuitton Air Force 1’s by Virgil one day. Growing up, customized air force 1s were hot. Thanks to Dapper Dan! Those remind me of my childhood.

A must have for your closet?

A must for me is a pair of Jordan 1 highs and a white pair of Air Force 1’s with the gum bottom. Those two pairs you can wear with anything.

If you got the chance to sit in a meeting w/ a sneaker brand, what would you ask/recommend/ask/say?

I wish more minorities and women were a part of the creativity/design process when creating sneakers. Brands have gotten better in recent years but it's still nowhere near what it should be.

Most you’ve ever spent on sneakers?

$1200 of a pair of Travis scott lows.
