Gen-Z fashion icon Emma Chamberlain and Canadian fashion company Aritzia have finally come together for Sunday Best’s Fall 2022 collection. For the campaign, Chamberlain interviewed herself about her career, lifestyle, and future plans.
Chamberlain began posting to YouTube in 2017 and gained 8 million subscribers in two years. Known for her distinctive editing style and relatable content, she became the Internet’s newest obsession.
She quickly found her way into the fashion world. In 2019, she attended Paris Fashion Week through a collaboration between YouTube and Louis Vuitton. She’s appeared in Cosmopolitan, Allure, Vogue Australia, and more. Lending further credibility to her fashion expertise, Chamberlain attend the 2021 Met Gala. Her loyal followers frequently turn to her for fresh fashion inspiration.
After a six-month hiatus from the internet, it comes as no shock to see Chamberlain in a campaign with Aritzia. Sunday Best is an in-house brand for Aritzia that is chasing after the ever elusive Gen-z shopper. Preppy 90s aesthetics are bountiful in the Fall 2022 collection with plaid mini skirts and argyle print sweaters.
“Old money” style is having a resurgence in popularity due to, of course, Tiktok. Fashion influencers channel the ivy-covered walls of Harvard and Yale to put together a new spin on timeless looks.
