I’ve grown to learn that when it comes to fashion, just because it’s not your cup of tea doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ugly or not fashionable unless we collectively agree that some things are just not it & you know exactly what I mean. Fashion is all about range, stepping outside of the box & or just expressing yourself / your personality.

Fashion would be nothing without trends, as far as fashion right now in this moment & I hate to say it, but everyone’s outfit looks alike. There’s usually a handful of people that I’ll come across while on social media that stands out & feels like a breath of fresh air.

On my Instagram explore page 9/10 I’m going to come across a picture of a male &/or female wearing either Nike dunks, cargo pants, graphic tees, ect. Don’t get me wrong buy pieces that you genuinely like wether they’re a trending piece or not, but fashion’s horizon is way to broad for repetition. I notice that a lot of peoples photos even look the same from the surroundings, the poses, the “aesthetics” just to hope that they end up on one of the fashion instagrams that only post popular people.

Fashion will always be one of the top 3 things that will always be able to influence the world. When you look good, you feel good & when you feel good, you perform good. I just hope more people are able to step outside the box of trends and try to develop a style that feels like home to them. Also no one person is subjected to any one style, it is more than okay to rock a variety of styles that complements your figure, your skin tone, your hair, ect. There’s only one you.
