Let's talk about the Air Jordan 1's

Sooo I think I'm a part of the cool kids club now! I just got my first pair of 1's in May for my birthday and I was so excited to get them. I have an unboxing video on my Youtube that you can watch here.

I don't know if it's because I am late to the game, but I don't feel like 1's are hyped anymore. There was a time when all I seen was people wearing 1's on my Instagram account and now I see a mix of everything. So if you're like me and still have not got a pair of 1's, that's ok, here's what to expect when you do decide to get them.

Shoe laces - The shoe laces did not come tied up like other sneakers usually are. Now, I have to YouTube "How To Properly Tie Your Shoe Laces For Air Force 1's" because I don't know if there is a specific way to tie them up.

I love that it came with 3 different color options! Yellow, purple, and white. I don't know another sneaker that comes with that many options. The most before this was two shoe lace options.

Boxing - This shoe box will definitely be easy to spot because it's my first black and red shoe box. I love the upgrade compared to the all orange Nike boxes that I still have or the red and white Nike boxes or the all black Jordan boxes.

I love how Jordan still continues to add the Jordan sticker inside the box. I usually keep them inside the box. Let me know what you do with it.

Size - The first thing I did when I got them was, I made sure they fit me because ya'll know every shoe runs different. I would say for me, it runs true to size. I don't know who needs to hear this but if you still don't know how to convert your women size to kid size, just subtract 1.5 For example, I am a 6 in Womens and I got a 4.5 in Kids size.

Color way - The purple and yellow is definitely a color way that I do not own but I feel in love with it. I always like to tell people, get our your comfort zone and try different color ways.

What really attracts me to 1's is the color way options. There was only one pair that I wasn't a fan of. It was the the Collab with a Latin artist. If you know then you know and if you don't know then we'll leave it at that. I know people are going to think I'm crazy but I said what I said lol. Sooooo that's my take on Air Jordan 1's.
