Laur’s debut album, 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎, is a journey into the hush of darkness; under oceans and through underworlds, in sweet whispers and sultry seductions, in earnest offerings to the gods. With this project, Laur invites listeners into a world where darkness and light coalesce, vulnerability and strength intertwine, and the beauty of the night unfolds in all its mysticism and complexity. Explorative and genre-defying, 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎 blends elements of pop, experimental electronic, and alternative r&b. The production is lush and atmospheric, creating an expansive sonic landscape. To embellish this world, Laur invites an array of musicians to enliven her compositions ranging from guitar, violin, shamisen, french horn, and upright bass. With a voice that is hauntingly delicate, Laur’s storytelling immerses listeners in the complexities of love, longing, and growth amidst the gentle embrace of a long dark night.
