As much as fashion evolves, it doesn’t look like their sizes are evolving with them. It’s no secret that certain brands cater to certain body types which is nothing to be surprised about and that’s the purpose of there being different brands so people have options to choose from, but in today’s world of fashion why is it becoming so hard to find the right fit?
A lot of the simplest fashion finds are not as easy to find anymore like a good pair of jeans. Growing up companies like Levi’s, Express and Urban Outfitters just to give a few examples, were some of the IT places to shop something as simple as jeans because they carried different styles for different shapes.

If you are not familiar with what “BBL Culture” is I’ll fill you in a little. If you‘re active on social media then I’m sure you’ve seen many women with the infamous small waist, big butt physique. No shade to women who are naturally shaped that way or have gotten work done, but that specific body shape has caused an impact on the fashion world in a way people didn’t think it would and with common sense it’s obvious that not everyone looks like that.

With that being said, it is nearly impossible to find a large range of regular clothing from brands who do not dedicate their clothing to people and women with that physique. Everything is a high waisted skinny jean/pant or an itty bitty top and for women who like range within their clothing, this doesn’t help at all. Many women have resulted in buying mens or boys clothing just to get a nice relaxed fit for certain clothing pieces and I can testify to that. You never know how much of a “non popular“ body type you have until you go shopping.
Fashion will always feed on trends and what’s popular when producing garments until the end of time and for those who take their fashion seriously will have to continue with the persistent searches for the right items
